I am a recent PhD graduate in computer science and full-time research engineer at Johns Hopkins University. I work on a variety of different projects, but my main goal is to estimate the wiring diagram of the brain using computer vision techniques.
I live in Columbia, Maryland. In addition to school and work, I have a passion for educational outreach and improving student opportunities. In my free time I love to travel!
A copy of my dissertation is available here. A link to my papers can be found on my google scholar page. You can also view my CV and resume.

College Prep Program
Karla Roncal and I started a free College Prep Program in 2009.
So far, over 150 students have participated, and nearly all program graduates are on track to complete a 4-year college degree! Our mission is to support and encourage underserved students who have the desire and academic potential to excel in college, but who lack the mentoring and resources necessary to succeed. You can apply or learn more about the program here: www.collegeprepprogram.org
